FALSE ADVICE REGARDING STORAGE ON PACKAGING

I brought 2 Willards's attention that the best place 2 store an open packet of Willards Chips is a fridge and not the cool dry place as recommended by them on their packets and that they thus need to change their labeling to advise their customers 2 store open packets in a fridge.

Willards replied with ridiculous comments why a fridge is not the best choice. They now acknowledge that the fridge does preserve freshness for weeks but refuse to address the matter.

I spoke to a manager, Peter Presbury who advised me that they will take legal advice as to whether they need to change their labeling. That is a poor attitude on their part as he is saying they will only change the labeling if their attorneys believe they are legally obliged to do so.

Where are there morals? They know that a fridge is the best place for storage and that there are many families in South Africa that need to stretch every Rand as far as possible and would welcome knowing that Willards chips can remain fresh for weeks if stored in a fridge as opposed to a maximum 36 hours in a " cool dry place ".
Willards are also a company that fail to respond to complaints on HelloPeter which further questions their morals.
