Two weeks ago, I purchased a rotisserie chicken from Woolworths at Sandton City - as I've done on many occasions in the past. This time however, it was to my horror and disgust that I found a fly inside the actual body of the chicken. Needless to say that due to the poor hygienic conditions within the store, the entire chicken had to be immediately tossed into the trash. I am an extremely loyal Woolworths customer and this incident has no doubt brought about a very serious concern for the conditions in which Woolworths is preparing their food, as well as for the Woolworths brand as a whole. Truly disappointing.
