Novalac IT no. 1 was recommended for my child. He took to it with out hesitation and has developed well. But there is never stock in the greater Durban area. Baby City have been useless to the point of incompetence. They have been promising that they have stock on order that was supposed to be in stores early Jan, well its now Feb and nothing. Dischem have been the only stockists that have had any which we have been buying up from store to store as needed, but they too are running out on a regular basis. Toys R us had us jumping through hopes to for what turned out to be Novalac AC, the wrong variant. My wife got hold of the supplier but who blamed the change in tin size for the availability issues. I will be changing formula's at 6 months which is only a month away and it will NOT be to another Novalac product. I would like to alert other new parents to the stock availability issues so they don't have the same problems. Its a nightmare.
