Dear Pick n Pay
This is a complaint.
Yesterday I purchased fresh skin-less chicken breasts from the Pick n Pay Northgate Mall branch. This was the PicknPay brand.
The labels clear marked the expiry date as the 4th of February 2014.
I prepared a pack of the breasts this morning to find that the meat was off/spoilt. This was completely disgusting.
I have had this same problem last week as well but I decided not to complain because I am usually very pleased with the quality of PnP products. I thought this was a once-off error. However it seems that this may be becoming a habit.
I bought 7 packs of breasts yesterday which you can verify through my PnP shopper card.
I have frozen them and will consume them during the week. If I find more of them with "rotten" meat - I will complain.
