Visited Game Woodlands boulevard today to purchase a laundry basket on special and a few other items. The item was marked R 79.99 even though the sale price is R 49.99. I took the item and scanned it with the bar code scanner, and it showed R 79.99. I asked two staff members individually for assistance, but they were not very helpful after wasting 7 minutes of my time. I then went to the customer services counter for assistance. After the involvement of a further three staff members and an additional wait of 18 minutes, the pricing was resolved. The rectification of the pricing was handled in a very unprofessional and time consuming manner by the staff concerned. This incident was the 4th time that I experienced incorrect pricing on items that are on special at this store. This frequency of incorrect pricing indicates that incorrect pricing is the norm in this store. I then relayed this information to the store manager who informed me that he would address the situation. The very poor levels of concern resolution and customer deception certainly do not warrant any further patronage of this store. There are many other stores that afford customers a superior sales experience.
