Why must we pay for a canceled order?

My wife is registered on Kalahari market place, she has done a few sales on kalahari and all is good with that. But now recently she received an order and the buyer cancelled the order, but now my wife is liable for a cancellation fee of the order, this is ridiculous! The order number is a1001374888?? So why must we be liable for an item that has been cancelled in less than 3 days? Please resolve this and close her account completely, we are DONE with Kalahari!!!
