After purchasing goods for over R2500 in November 2012, we were informed by Edgars that we had won a holdiay for 4. We were sent forms where we had to put in our preferred dates and areas to take up this holiday. We were never contacted for any of the dates we were available, but during October 2013, we were given 3 Friday to Monday options in November. I could not take time off work during this time and the company doing the booking, TLC Marketing, offered to move it to February 2014. Today I received the booking form for February. The "holiday" for four is now only for two adults and two children under 18, my children are over 18. We have to pay R649 for this prize. We can only arrive after 14:00 on Friday and must be out before 10:00 on Monday., making this a week-end and not a holiday. Furthermore, we have to declare and prove our income, declare that my husband and I are both employed and we have to be prepared to listen to a 90 minute presentation. We cannot go away from our cottage during the day, until we have been visited for the presentation. This is no holiday prize at all, but merely a marketing ploy for time share or holiday points. Misleading!!
