On the 3rd of December I placed an order for two Blu-ray DVDs. These DVDs were intended as a gift for Christmas. I subsequently received an email informing me that they would not be arriving before Christmas. I received this email a day before Christmas Eve informing me that if the order was intended as a gift, I should make other plans. I brushed this off my shoulder and someone never got their gift. I did tell them that it would be arriving soon though, so no need to be sad.
I then got an email today that the parcel will only be arriving on the 16th of Jan. I understand that there are backlogs and that it is the busiest time of the year, but then don't advertise that it's the perfect place to shop for Christmas! I mean, it's not like I ordered a scooter or car, I ordered TWO DVDs! If I knew that I would have to wait for just less than two months to get two DVDs, I would have rather gone and bought them myself!
It's just not right, and I feel like I've been taken advantage of, not to mention how the person who was supposed to get the gift felt! Extremely embarrassing on my part!
