On the 24th of December, I walked into the Puma store at the Wold Wear complex just off of Beyers Naude. I spotted a handy bag that I liked. Because of the time (around 16:40), I decided to ask the guard watching in the store what time they close shop. He advised that they close at 18:00. Not having any money on me at the time, quickly dashed to the car park to get money from my car so that I could purchase the bag. To my amazement, I got back in under 10 minutes and the store was closed. I stood at the window and hinted at the guard that he had gave me incorrect information. He didn't say much, just smiled in a casual manner, not realising that I could not afford to come back there as I was heading for Christmas vacation. The lady at the till could see me from the window and did not even want to meet me at the door. I had to shout through the glass window till she could hear me from where she was. She shouted "we are closed" after I told her I had been given the wrong information. I then exclaimed that "it wasn't fair" and she rudely responded "not fair on who? I SAID we are closed." This type of service is appaulling. I pity the clients who are yet to encounter such bad treatment.
