I have had an acc with Edgars for as long as i can remember, when i got retrenched since i didnt have all the documents they required i have to pay up my own account. Since i have been paying my account diligently, i was being debited by MBDI for the amount of R 500 a month, in november i had called the lawyers enquiring about the closing balance on my account i also sent and email for them to mail me the balance, i received an email with the balance of R 1385.08, at the end of november MBD debited my account for R 500 whic, then on the 23/12/2013 they debited my acc for another R 500 which leave's a balance of R 385.08, i called MBD on the 23/12 enquiring what is the closing balance and they told me its R 473.63 because of the legal fees thats added up from novemer which i said was fine, so on the 23/12 despite being debited i made anotehr payment of R 473.63 which should bring my accto R 0.00. this morning io called MBD for a letter saying the acc is closed they said on there system it reflects R 0.00 but i should call edcon for the letter, on doing so Edgars says i still owe R 477. some odd, i am furious and disgusted by there service, i was even told they will call me bk
