I have been a loyal customer at @Home stores and have bought many products from them. We saw an advert for a Espresso (Bean to Cup) machine advertised in the HOME magazine (Dec 2013) saying this particular product would be available at R1500 off from 31 Oct - 26 Dec. It is the 21st Dec today and I know of three shops that still have stock available but I was said they promptly discontinued the promotion because the stocks were running low, regardless of the fact that the ad stated till the 26th Dec2013. I regard this as a breach in the Consumer act, and I demand either to be given this product at this price or at least an IOU in the event the stocks are depleted. I was not even given an option to negotiate a price even on a demo model which had been used for marketing purposes. If this is there new stance on selling their items, then I shall refrain from shopping their purely out of principle. I hope they can give me some sort of clarification to this issue.
