I purchased a DSTV remote to replace my non-functioning one on 06/11/2013, which was delivered 08/11/2013. Upon delivery the new remote worked fine for about 1 day and then started malfunctioning. I phoned and requested for the faulty remote to be collected and a credit or refund issued so I can purchase a replacement. This was on the 12/11/2013, and the remote was collected 18/11/2013.
Four phone calls and 1 email later, and I still haven't received any confirmation when I will be issued with a credit or refund! I only get promises from the call agents that it has been escalated to the Returns department and they're awaiting feedback. It's just a remote control, how long can it take to confirm that it's not working?!
Not having a working DSTV remote makes it virtually impossible to watch anything...
As a loyal customer of [URL Removed] since 2001, I'm disgusted to have had to wait this long with no response to this matter, and I will be more than likely making use of other online retailers from this point onwards.
