After buying a Gobii Touchscreen E-reader on a one day special that Kalahari had I was immediately dissapointed when opening the box. My suspicions were first aroused when I noticed that the box that the actual Gobii was in was not properly sealed. As this is Christmas gift for someone else I then decided to open the box. I then saw that the protective cover that is usually on the screen has also been removed. Someone has opened this before? When I switched it on I noticed dead pixels on the screen. I immediately emailed [Email Removed] 4 days later no-one has contacted me. Then I phoned. The telephone marketing person then told me the steps to take to get it returned. When I asked who I can complain to she said I should really just email the support email. She also then informed me that because I bought it on special I will not get a new one but will have to wait for them to fix this one despite the fact that they obviously knowingly sent met a defective or reject product. So now I have to look for a new christmas present for my family member and wait until some time in the new year until Kalahari fixed it (it cant be fixed) to get the present back.
