I've used card 30/11/13 at CNA & Jet. Jet verified my identity &I could continue with my purchases. Had more than enough credit left. This weekend I wanted to use my card at the same C N A store, but had to be humiliated & embarrassed when the cashier told me my card is blocked 'cause I might be in jail/unemployed. Store manager assisted us & after an hour & five phone calls, he couldn't get any assistance from the call centre or department. They were either incapable of assisting him, or provided the incorrect phone numbers. He was even refused to speak to the supervisor! If Edcon suspect that my card might have been - CALL ME!!! I haven't received any calls or voice mails or sms's to inform me of this situation. I spoke to the department this morning (Very unfriendly & rude staff!!), claiming that I have been called but could not be reached. With something as urgent as this, why didn't you call my next of kin to find out how to get hold of me if you supposedly couldn't reach me? I've a career where I need my phone 24/7/365, so NO reason why I couldn't be reached.
