About 3 months ago we bought my husband 2 Dow Jones Chinos. We paid R400 per pair of slacks. Within 8 weeks the first pair of pants tore between the legs. Two weeks later the second pair tore in exactly the same place. I took the first pair back to Edgars where I was told that they cannot assist me as it was a cash transaction and they have no record of the transaction. So now we are penalised because we paid cash and we don't have any proof of the purchase. Why would I keep the cash slip if the pants fit and there was no reason to question the quality?
I just feel that it is unfair to pay that for pants that didn't even last 3 months. This is not the quality that we had expected.
