I purchased goods to the value of R23 599.81, to be exact, which was a cash sale, from the store. I was promised that I would be given a free gift and up to this day I have not received it, this sale happened 3 weeks ago. I am now of the impression that the promise of a gift was only mentioned in order to complete the sale. I have been enquiring as to when I can expect to receive this free gift, which I might add I was willing to pay for at the time of purchasing the goods. I bought a 7 piece dining set, a coffee table, a mattress and a sleigh bed of which I was told the pedestals were not included in the price, but that they would give it to me as a gift. I did not ask for it, it was offered to me, now I am getting the run around. Everyday I have been sending someone to find out what the status of the matter is and everyday he is being told to come back the next day, but nothing has transpired to this day. I think that their service is appaling and they should not make promises they can not keep...
