I insured my cell phone for a premium of R79 per month which amounted to R3501 to R5000 shouldthe insured event occurred. However, the insurance company refuse to pay out the insured amouny stating that the premium that sI was supposed to pay amounted to R40 and not the amount of R79 for the Backberry 9300 that was insured. Now EDCON informed me they made a mistake and wil reimburse my premiums but will cover me only for R2000. Today when I. Phoned them they stated that they insured me for the current book value of the phone. I can't believe I was a loyal customer of this bad company for almost 11 years. I will definately pay them up in full and close them down. I am really disgusted in the way I was treated as a customer.
