Sitting in my car looking at my receipt (something I never do!) I discover that I was charged R18.99 for a small packet of dinosaur gums that I had just purchased at Winmore SPAR!! Going back inside, I called for the manager and asked him to explain. He apologised - refunded me the R18.99 and then charged me the R4.99 for the sweets! How much profit have they made on these pricey little items already!! Moreleta SPAR on the other hand over charged me R5.00 on a chocolate. On complaining the manager offered me an free chocolate just to apologise for the inconvenience. Wonder which SPAR I will be using in the future...
