I took my prescription to Dischem on the 15th August after a visit to the doctor. I gave the script to Sharona at dispensary and she proceeded to load it onto the system. As she was doing this she tells me "Discovery is off line so you will have to pay cash or come back later". I was very annoyed at this attitude because she did not give one iota about circumstance or try to find a solution. There was pain medication on the script and she could at least have offered to give for one day. Why should it be the customer's problem if there is a system failure? Why could she not phone Discovery to get clearance for the medication. How does she know customers carry enought 'cash' on them to pay for the medication and how does she know that it is convenient to come back again! She did not even offer to have the medication delivered to me after the system became functional again.
I deal with Dischem every month for my medication and never before have I come across this bad attitude! Puts a bad light on the service at this Dis-Chem store!
