My wife took my Bronx shoes to be resoled at your store. She paid a deposit and was advised that she would be contacted when the shoes would be ready for collection.
She never received any communication so after a few weeks she went in the store. The shoes were there but one shoe had a big tear on the inside which was repaired with stitching. Unfortunately she said it looks terrible and will not be comfortable to wear again. Even the sales person behind the counter said he would not accept that workmanship. I was told to contact the Customer Care.
She phoned Dawie Nel (079 890 6396) and he said he would go to the store the following day, she phoned 2 days later he didn't go. She contacted him a few days after still not gone to the store! After a few more days, he said he had been to the store and he had seen the shoes. His explanation to me was that with expensive shoes, when they remove the sole the shoe can tear, but according to him they did impeccable repair work. Unfortunately we do not agree with the quality of the repair work and the shoes are unwearable. He did advise her that he could possibly refund he the labour money, this is unacceptable.
