We bought a 50" Sinotec Plasma television at Makro and it was playing fine for the first few months, after that we noticed that the volume shot straight up to 100, no matter how many time you lower the volume it just increased back up to 100.
That said, we took it into Makro Ottery and it was sent in for repairs with minimal scratches (probably 3 barely visible marks), 3 weeks later the tv was repaired, but had more scratches on it than when it got sent away, anyways after trying to explain this to the lady at repair section, I managed to convince my wife to turn a blind eye. 2 days later the volume shot straight back up and we had the same problem, so back to repairs it went again for a 2nd time and we waited approximately 3 weeks for it to return. Low and behold the screen comes back from repairs and has even more scratches on it. We decided to take this up with the lady at repairs (Ms. Lavonia Daniels) and was told that she needs to consult with management and that if they did decide to put a NEW FRAME on it, it had to be sent to JHB and we would probably wait longer. Long story short, we decided against it.
2 days later, SAME problem. I AM DISGUSTED WITH MAKRO'S POOR SERVICE
