On the 03rd of August 2013, Honey had a launch of their new catalogue, which was held at Aroma Cafe in Fourways, opposite Monte casino. We had arrived half an hour earlier, and when we got there, there had been no information/signs of where to go. Eventually a waiter had assisted us. when we finally got to where we had to be, we were just told by one of the Honey consultants to be seated right at the back, at that time we did not have any issues. but as everybody started to arrive, we felt very excluded from the entire event (I would like to point out that the group of friends and i are all non-white). The Hostess had not even welcomed us to the launch. We were also told that we could not try on the earrings that had been on display due to allergy purposes, which is totally understandable, yet a lady had tried on the earrings, and there were no issues - when we had complained to one of the honey consultants, they had been very abrupt towards us.
I have been to many honey launches and this has got to be the worst launch, it was poorly organised and the hosting skills were pathetic. We payed a fee of R189 - yet it felt as though it was a complete waste.
