My son drank coke out of a 300ml bottle and it tasted .he asked me to check if his mouth was bleeding and when i looked, i didn't see anything. on inspection of the bottle, i saw a horrible, thick, blood colour substance stuck on the side (inside) of the bottle.that same night my son became extremely sick (high fever and sore throat). i took him to the dr who prescribed antibiotics.the next day he developed a rash all over his body and we went back to the dr.no improvement a day later and we went to the dr again. he missed a week of school.i contacted coke on 13/05 to report the matter and 3 days later they collected the bottle and said that they would send it for testing and tell me what the substance in the bottle was.to date and several calls later (31/05, 06/06, 17/07, 22/07 and today), i am still waiting for feedback. i haven't even received a letter of acknowledgement of my complaint or an apology. i haven't heard anything. i cannot believe that you can take such a serious matter so lightly. what precautions and steps are taken to clean your bottles. what if something worse happened.
