Wetherlys Kramerview had a sale last weekend. I spotted a wrought iron room divider. When I enquired about the price I was told it is stock from at least 5 years ago and they could not find it on the system. It was also pointed out to me that the item was damaged and came apart at the hinges. They were just using it to set up their display. I said I was really interested in purchasing it and was told by Arthur as well as the regional manager in the store at the time that I would be phoned back during the week with a price. I eventually phoned on Saturday (yesterday) to enquire as I had heard nothing. I was told the item would cost me R2.800. I was blown away!!! firstly it is old stock, damaged and everything in store was on 25% sale, therefore the sale price was R3.500 less the 25% = R2.800. I am dumbfounded. If they were not interested in selling it why not say so? I am very disappointed as I have always had impeccable service from that particular branch.
