More than two months ago my husband and i visited the store @ Protea Glen mall and bought a braaipack of chicken. We went home and cooked then chicken and ate it. This is when started for us, the whole night we had to revisit the loo over and over while taking turns to make our way there. We were not sure as to what the problem was and went to work with lunch boxes of this same meat which made the toilet duty worse, this when in actual fact we confirmed the reason we got sick. The meat we bought from Shoprite. When i got home i checked on the expiry date which said August 2011. We went to the store after visiting our doctor who confirmed food poisoning. We told the management who took the meat packet and promised that they are taking it to the lab to check what went wrong and they will be in contact. I can say today we have not even received 1 call to tell us how far they are with the matter. They don't care to check on the progress we have made since the last spoke to us we were both sick from their meat, be careful what you buy from Shoprite, you might end up Dead and nobody will ever care even a courtesy call to check on progress.
