I am a regular purchaser of the Woolworth's Vienna's as they are an appetising snack and stay fresh when in the fridge. Last time I purchased the large pack at Howard Centre. I wasn't impressed to see that most of the packets expired the following day or the day after. Regardless I know Woolworth's food is always top quality.
When I ate my viennas that evening they were pap and soft as if they had been not cooled and chilled properly. Normally they are firm and fresh. The colour also looked pale. They were only supposed to expire 3 days later. This is the first time I didn't want to take that chance. I threw them out and the packet contained more water than normal and i think the temperature was not right and the water soaked into the viennas.
The most upsetting part was that I purchased the big packet and as you know that is not a small amount of money, but I was prepared as I don't like to compromise on quality.
Not a happy customer :(
