On Monday morning my house got burgled at 02:57am, ADT armed response was initiated immediately BUT only arrived on premise at 03:07.. 10 min later.. not at haste speed but rather on a Sunday cruise. I instructed the ADT vehicle to call for additional backup seeing that i discovered that a housebreaking had occurred and do not know the nature of the damage or the location of the culprits. The security office called Ellis, took off in his vehicle, leaving me behind alone on the crime scene, only to return another 10 mins later with a second ADT bantam bakkie joining him on his Sunday cruise. Both security offices dragged themselves out of their vehicles, but no immediate effort was made to secure the surrounds and to ensure that the occupants of the home were fine and safe, no question such as "Are you OK? " etc... squat nothing! The guards even had the audacity to ask me to open the garden gate for them in order get access to the rear yard... nearly 25 min after the alarm was activated.By that time the has been long time gone. Utterly disappointed seeing that NO effort was made to react swiftly and to respond accordingly. Why spend all the money on such poor service?
