Both BMW's we own picked up electronic problems since we had the units installed through the new Discovery plan which this includes, vehicles showed no signs of electronic problems until these units were installed, we have had batteries die on us and in the process almost poisoning us with fumes leaking into the car, aircon units destroyed and had to be replaced, blown bulbs, fuses, draining the ignition keys so that the vehicle had to be locked/unlocked manually and keys not charging, damaged central locking system and changed on board computer to crash mode and once this was reset the drivers door no longer locks and the dead lock facility on the 525 rendered useless and the vehicle is left unlocked all the time and compromising our safety and us not being able to use the vehicle as it can not be locked, up until today we have not had a very good response from them as to what is going on and what the game plan is to rectify this and us being re-imbursed for the monies we have spent on both vehicles to date, the technician who also came out to de-install and re-install new units did not do this and merely replaced batteries and sim cards and compromised us and our safety even further!!
