Was invited to meet friends at the Hout Bay Bay Harbour Market, we have just got a puppy. So I checked the internet to see if dogs allowed. Internet advised that children and small dogs welcome but need to be on a leash if not carried. So we left Sea Point and headed to the market. On arrival they advised no dogs allowed. Apparently this new rule had been in place for 3 months. So my question is why have not updated the website, to avoid disappointment to those that actually investigate first. Secondly on arrival there was so notice declaring that 'No Dogs Allowed'. I personally feel that they dropped the ball on their side. We are obviously not the first people to have this issue as the security for the place said that the rule with regards to small dogs had changed and begging street children outside were offering to baby sit the dog. Needless to say we left.
