This is the first time I have ever walked out of a movie.
I booked tickets online for my husband and I to see the Wolf of Wolf Street on the opening weekend. The write up on the Ster Kinekor website gave it a 16 rating. I was horrified at the explicit content of the movie and feel that I was not adequately warned about the nature of the movie. I have images in my head that I do not want there.
My complaint is that the online booking system for Ster Kinekor did not warn me of the explicit content. I went to the movies again last night and bought my ticket the old fashioned way at the counter with an assistant - and I noticed that the Wolf of Wolf Street poster had a large red warning sign saying 'EXPLICIT CONTENT'. Oscar nominated movie or not, the public should be made aware of the nature of the movie in all advertising forums.
