I subscribed for GQ magazine after seeing an ad that you will receive a complementary Paul and Smith cologne when doing so, so I took their 12 months subscription. When i enquired about the complementary gift after I had received my first subscription I was told that the complementary gifts are not for twelve months subscribers, to me this doesn't make sense, how can a "premium" subscriber not be entitled to one whilst a six, nine or eleven month subscriber be entitled to one? it has been over a month now since i asked them that question as they had responded via email, and no one was responded, I can't even get through to their helpline as I want to cancel my subscription as to the basis I took it under was false advertising on their part.
