I went to watch Thor: The Dark World on the 1st of December, The show we bought tickets for was the 14:45 show. we arrived outside theatre 7 at 14:35, The theatre was closed for cleaning which is understandable, Nobody wants to sit in a dirty theatre. The problem, the cleaner only opened the theatre at 15:00, after we got to our seats we had to endure 30 mins of adverts. Firstly; If I wanted to watch adverts I would have watched a movie on TV, It is understandable that adverts must be shown but not for the duration of 30 mins, Secondly; When the Movie finally started, The volume was so low that it was difficult to here what was being said over the constant crumpling of packets.
And finally, The movie is rated 10-12, there were kids that were way below the age restriction. How could the sales person and the man checking the tickets allow under aged children into this movie. It is NOT a family rated movie.
It is safe to say I did not enjoy most of the movie.
Nu Metro The Glen is clearly not being managed properly and undermines the rules and standards set by Nu Metro. If I wasn't allowed into certain movies when I was a child, I see no reason why any exceptions should be made.
