After ESPN was removed from DSTV and all the complaints we had my hopes were lifted when i received correspondence that SS9 would be made available and possibly show the NFL and NBA. Only to find out that the NFL will be on SS1 and SS1HD... in other words sorry compact users. Not only has my DSTV viewing been halved since i lost my international sports on ESPN, now i get offered to upgrade to DSTV extra, i check what channels it will have and learn that I still wont see any NFL or NBA cause extra doesn't have SS1. I hate the monopoly we have in SA, im forced to be a DSTV subscriber on compact because there is nothing else like it, but because of that im also forced to deal with this. My viewing used to be soccer on SS3 and SS4, NFL and NBA on ESPN, X games on ESPN, Reebok crossfit on ESPN. That gives you an idea how much less I watch DSTV now!!
