Ripping off clients

Sent mail via DSTV website enquiring why when remaining a client and upgrading decoders, you transfer the decoder but cannot transfer your DCC, yet you as owner still remain a client, and should you cancel the DCC in the middle of the month, you are billed for the full month and even when activating the "new" DCC, you are billed pro-rata for the month, received numerous calls from call centre advising that the division handling this will be contacting me as enquiries does not handle these queries (why call me as it was set out in the original mail sent), on Saturday after following up once again received a call and is now being told that you must give a month's notice, this is all good but why does these "experienced agents" at the walk in centres not inform you when doing this thus i could have kept my insurance until the end of the month, swopped out my decoder as i paid for it until then yet they terminate the DCC with immediate effect, not advising you have DCC until expiry of the billing period.
