This complaint has been a long time coming. The Midlands Mall Cinecentre branch has the monopoly in Pietermaritzburg. The Cinema has displayed poor attitude on numerous occasions and often don't cater for the market they have. The manager is often not available when customers wish to lodge in house complaints. This evening we arrived at the mall for an impromto viewing of Monsters University in 3D and on the display board it was advertised as showing at 19:45. When we went to the desk to buy tickets we were looked at as though we can't read. The lady maning the desk argued about whether it was displayed on the board and when she saw it just said that it was not showing. The manager was not available for a discussion. I don't think I'm the only person in Maritzburg who has experienced this! I would love a Nu Metro or Ster Kinekor in Pietermaritzburg.
