NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR RE-IMBURSEMENT

ONLY RENTALS in Goodwood took over property management of our home in Cape Town from August 2012. The contract we signed with them was never honored as the only thing they did was to collect the monthly rental via eft. Our pool needed repair and they quoted us R3931.86 which we paid to them on 23rd October.
The contractor never went to do the job and our tenant had to fix the problem and then deducted this from our rent which means we were doubly charged. After several attempts to get hold of the Goodwood branch we were assured on several occassions that the money would be paid into our account but with no luck. We reported them to the Franchise Manager in December, Mr Grant Smee, and requested that they assist us in getting our money back.
To date we have not had any luck and whilst on holiday in Cape Town recently, we drove to the offices just to discover that it has been closed down by the Franchisor.

We cannot believe that a company of such good repute has treated us this way. All we want is our money back and the last time I liaised with Grant Smee was 15 February 2013 and we are still waiting.
