When purchasing the house a month ago, the response time & service was fast and efficient. Now after having moved in and finding defects which were not disclosed to us, the response time & service is pathetic to say the least. Emails are going back and forth from us as "new" owners and that of the "previous" owners. The main matter at hand is that the roof is leaking and now 3 weeks later, with us having lost out on either pay or leave as a result of having to stay at home to try and sort out the mess, NO POSITIVE FEEDBACK has yet to be received. In the emails to the agent selling us the house, the principals have been copied in and even this has had no impact. SEEFF is saying the owners are responsible for the defects yet they are too at fault for selling a house without disclosing all the relevent info. Upon viewing the house, we asked questions to which the answers were that there is no issues pertaining to the house. Now after having professional look at the roof etc, we were told that the roof is indeed UNDONE. Who is to be held liable for this??
