Phoenix view in Midrand was initially managed by the Developer Galencia and I received monthly statements from them which I paid electronically and all was happy. Then the management was handed over to Compeg. When I email Galencia they sent me an email address for compeg which I mailed to ask what the new procedure is and why I have not received any statements. No response! Nobody contacted me or sent me a statement for over 14 months. Then I received a letter from the attorneys saying I am to pay all the interest and legal fees. When I asked for proof that statements where sent to me the Compeg guys used the wrong email address. Now I am asking how can the poor handover of my information from Galencia to Compeg be my fault and why should I now pay for legal fees when no-one made a proper effort to contact me they just left it. When I am trying to ask for previous statements and correspondence sent to me they fail to respond in a timely matter or to at least have a meeting. The complex I am staying in are managed so much better than Phoenix view that I have no confidence in their ability to get to a resolution fast. Please can Colin's manager phone me to have this sorted out.
