Dishonesty

I moved out of Huurkor in February. Upon moving out, the person who was supposed to conduct the move-out inspection never showed up, and there was no explanation given. After four weeks, I was informed that someone had gone to the unit and found it dirty. I had cleaned it and even paid for someone to clean it, but after four weeks, the unit was expected to be spotless. I was also told that I should have painted. All of this was done in my absence. Until today, there has been no communication, and my conclusion is that Huurkor will not return my deposit, as I have been told this is how they operate. What a shameful rental agency, filled with dishonest people who don't take accountability. I regret taking care of the place as if it were my own, as there is now no reward for me. Trash.
