We are tenants at no. 1 Mondeor flat and I do not know where to begin with my frustration with Midcity properties, firstly Midcity does not care about its tenants every time we report a fault at the building they would send a rude white man to come and insult us before he can fix the problem, the toilet has been leaking for years they would come and fix it and it will work for one day as if it was never fixed and the same rude white guy would tell us why dont we fix it ourselves, the last incident that made me very angry was when we suffered a break in December 2013 so we decided to report the matter to them so that they may become aware not that we were expecting them to fix the door that was broken during the break in because we know they never fix anything instead they only thing they know is to insult us. the very same rude white guy came to our flat to tell us midcity will not pay, we must fix the door ourselves because it our our fault that there was a break in, our rent is R3675.00 so December month we decided to R3000.00 so they we can take 675.00 and fix the door but now they just informed us that we must move out by 28 February because we didnt pay the full rental.
