Signed for a property.
I was sent an offer to purchase on a property which both my wife and myself signed.
We began arranging the finance through the banks. Running around for bank statements and sending marriage certificates etc ..
We discovered later that there was only one signature on the offer to purchase and suddenly there is a co-owner who still has to sign. The sellers are divorced and the husband had not signed yet ie the Offer to Purchase is not valid.
This is a property that has been on the market for over 4 months.
I am in the process of requesting the fais and fica documents to see whether both selling parties have signed otherwise they are in breach.
How unprofessional.
I have left a message for their 'Principal" to contact me.
