I submitted my application for the house enrollment to NHBRC in Woodmead approximately 2 weeks before end of February 2013. I was informed by Clement that the process will take about 2 weeks since the soil classification within my stand is Dolomite. I deposited money as requested.
I followed-up with Clement after sometime to find out when to expect the enrollment certificate and that is when i was informed that Dr Cornelius Swart is not happy with my application and therefore I need to obtain approval from Hollard Mutter (conducted a Geological Study within the area of the stand or vacant land).
I therefore indicated to them through email that it is not necessary for two competent engineers (Geotechnical) to attach their signatures or approval on the enrollment application as this may come at a price which i dont intend to incur. My problem is that i had to drive to their offices as i was not receiving any response and today Dr. Swart informed me that he has not seen my application and I should call Xolo Mdake on his/her cell phone who was not avaialble and nobody could assist me. After paying R14 000 this is the service i get???
That is pathetic to say the least.
