I approached Mr van Vuuren for assistance regarding a personal matter related to Education; he agreed to try and resolve my query. It soon became apparent that he had not made any attempt to acquaint himself with the facts and therefore could not assist me; after exchanging a number of emails with him and his senior Mr Athol Trollip I eventually received the following email :
Please see attached email our office received from you. It is now unclear to us, what you actually expect from us. We cannot answer why the Department of Education or specifically Mr Stowman did not respond to your query. Please take note that we are not the Government of the day. How can we explain to you why someone from the department didn't respond to your queries if we also struggle to get answer from them.
Please stop harassing our offices if you yourself do not know what u want. You have indicated on numerous occasions that u want to exit the education system through VSP or any other method that will allow you to retire, even personally to me.
I am not going to entertain your tantrum and our communication ends here. Please do not contact any of our office again.
