I am so annoyed. Since 1 August 2013 I have tried to get my mother re-registered with SASSA for her old age pension fund. First we get sent all over Parow and Goodwood, just to find out we must go to Bellville. I've explained to SASSA that my mother has problems walking long distances, and arranged for someone to visit her premises. When I followed up, the lists had gone missing. Since September 2013, I have been visiting SASSA offices in Bellville EVERY FRIDAY afternoon, as I have a new job, and cannot take off the whole time, because of other people's incompetence. Why do you employ them? They do not know what is going on. At this stage, I have a better idea of what to do. Last Friday, my patience finally left me and I had a screaming match at SASSA's office, only to be told by this arrogant lazy supervisor that I had time since August to re-register my mother.??? That is exactly my point!!! What have I been trying to do? So she says that I must take my mother to the Civic Centre this morning (a week later) and have her card activated, or she loses her arrears. Civic Centre advises me this morning they didn't make arrangements with them!!!
