Hi Peter, I came across a concerning scenario 2day, and feel the community needs help.2day after realizing that the doctor referred to me was fully booked 4 the day, can only see him 2moro in the afternoon I took to the local government clinic, to have my flu checked out. I went to the overport clinic in Durban, on the entrance to the building I and others were greated with a pile of rubbish*old building material, papers and knows wat else*, stand still water from the sewage, no air-conditioning for the waiting room to minimize bacteria growth as for the bad service (instead of making cards for the first time patients, they were lazying around on their cellphones, I stayed for almost 45minutes to get my card to consider being sent through, I ended up living cause the smell was also causing breathing issues) lunches that go on, on end. I don't even understand wat auditors report on if a health facility is at that state.yes I've heard people complaining and I hope that being my 1st and last tym.but for those that use these facilities day in and out help would be appreciated.
