Good day, i have done my tax return then received my statement confirming SARS owes me R2200, they then put a stopper on my account for a R50 that i owe them. i have paid their R50, and now when i phone i get different answers from the call centre agents i have spoken to numrous people, everytime its a differnt story, first someone from SARS will contact me within 48 working hours which never happend, i am very disgusted at the way SARS consultants talk to customers, no etiquitte at all, plain down rude i have only spoken to one person that has been very polite, my case number 116438655 and still no solution. if you owe SARS money then they very quick to deduct money from your Salary or send letters, but as soon as they owe you then they will come up with every excuse in the book to prevent you from getting your money if this is not resolved ASAP then i will take this further to the newspapers if i have to, i suggest that you train your staff properly on informatin they provide and with the way they talk to people, it is really disgusting.
