My son was taking treatment @ Chris Hani Baragwanath, we were told that he's responding well to his meds & they have to refer him to our local clinic. I was advised that I need to book for the next appointment before he finishes his meds, I dashed straight to Zola Clinic to make an appointment, with an intention of hitting 2 birds with 1 stone as I was on leave that day, to my surprise the admin staff in the dept. were busy with paperwork instead of attending patients who were busy mumbling, complaining about poor service. I went straight to the window to ask to be serviced, Smilo assisted me. We then went to TB dept.a rude nurse called Lebogang Tshomele was suppose to assist me, while she was talking to Smilo, I told my son to sit down cause he's been complaining about being hungry. Lebogang started shouting at me saying that I've got an attitude, I asked her why is she shouting at me cause I didn't talk to her. She said I was speaking to her indirectly, she went on & on about patients attitude, I told her not to generalise cause it's the 1st time I'm seeing her. She gave me my son's card saying that I must come back when I'm ready. Unfortunately the Matron was not there.
