CLOSURE OF ZOO LAKE BOWLING CLUB BAR/RESTAURANT

I was very surprised, disappointed and very upset as an Expat of Johannesburg, to hear that the Council Lease on the Zoo Lake Bowling Club Bar/Restaurant is not going to be renewed. Apparently a BEE Company is going to take over these Premises.

This Venue for the Members/General Public has been offered for a long time now and was providing reasonably Cheap Bar & Meal Facilities.

I think the City Council is shooting themselves in the foot here as this venue was generating a lot of revenue for them and turnover was huge.

Hope alternative facilities can be found for these many Citizens of Johannesburg who frequent this venue.
