My family who was visiting from overseas and my husband and me plus some friends booked Kogelbay campsite from 15.-18.2.2013 for three nights over my birthday to relax. We have never stayed there before.
Firstly we paid for a site with electricity as was advertised on the Cities website. When we got there we found out that there are no sites with electricity. This has since my complaint now been changed on the website however the city is trying to make a fool of me by covering up and not admitting to their fault.
When entering the site there is a sign which states "no loud music". This is something nobody cares about and nobody enforces. We had to listen to 10 different kinds of music right around us from cars or proper sound systems people bring to site. We went to bed eventually around midnight and were then woken up by trance music loudly playing close by at 2am. Needless to say we didn't get much sleep that night. The next morning early two buses arrived with loud, drunk, rowdy people partying like there is no tomorrow.
We than were harassed by some of the people that arrived. Security didn't do anything. We didn't feel save and departed. The city won't refund! Unacceptable!
