Newspaper deliveries (Sunday Times / Times) to you home is impossible to stop!
1. We phoned and put the paper on hold before we went away for a number of days. While away a neighbour phoned to say newspapers were lying around the garden advertising that the house was unoccupied. We called, while away, the newspaper house once again and asked for an immediate stop. Didn't happen. We arrived home with more papers in the garden. Fortunately for us we have an electric fence around our property to stop a home invasion.
2. Back home, after finding the papers in the garden we called and e-mailed numerous people at the newspaper house in Cape Town and Johannesburg. Its 5 days later and still more papers have been delivered. The latest delivery was this morning.
So - careful... don't subscribe if you might want to stop deliveries at a future date.
